ALTIS

As part of an overall asset repositioning, Altis Property Partners engaged PPC for our Project Management services and to manage the design and construction of their 40 Talavera Road New Entry off Khartoum Road as part of an overall asset re-positioning. The original entrance was deemed unmarketable by leasing managers due to its invisibility to passing traffic as well as its dated and uninviting appearance.

PPC managed the design development and delivered the Construction works.Further to this PPC supervised and managed design and construction, acted as tenant liaison with building management completed regular and progress reporting.

PPC worked closely with Altis, their facility management team and other tenants to deliver the project which consisted of;

  • Managing the tenant’s make-good obligations on behalf of the owner including the compilation and resolution of defects lists. This reduced the refurbishment costs substantially for the owner;
  • Demolishing the existing brick and glazed entry and roof structure;
  • Installation of new footings;
  • Supply and installation of new precast concrete walls;
  • Roof connection back to the existing building with new automatic door entry;/li>
  • Internal finishes;
  • Switchboard upgrades;
  • Soft and hard landscaping;
  • Signage;
  • Driveways.

The works were delivered in close proximity to existing tenants as well as the main loading dock entry for all vehicles. PPC’s open communication and detailed planning ensured the works were delivered without disrupting the existing operations of the site.
